Transfer students get exclusive tour of Washburn University campus

 

            November 19, 2015, Topeka, Kan., With an increase in demand for a four-year degree, Washburn University will host a campus tour on Wednesday, Dec. 4th for students attending local community colleges across the state. 

 

Who: Potential transfer students from across the state.

 

What: Campus tour of Washburn University.

 

When: Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 

Where: Washburn University Campus, Memorial Union, Washburn A and B.

 

Why: To inform potential transfer students what Washburn University has to offer for them.

 

            Washburn University is a publicly funded and independently governed university that offers more than 200 academic programs to more than 6,900 students with 1,000 faculty and staff involved. Programs at Washburn lead to certification, associate, bachelor, masters, doctor of nursing practice and juris doctor degrees. Since its founding in 1865, Washburn has been providing students of all walks of life a place to realize their dreams. Students, faculty and staff also can enjoy numerous volunteer, cultural and recreational opportunities throughout campus and the Topeka community.
